Hello everyone,
Sorry that there were no recipe posts really last week. I had kiddo home and some health concerns come up, so my mind has been occupied with waiting for the results. I am a little scared, but we will get through it, I know we will.
I just may need to up my game with momnoms in order to afford anything that may come with a medical issue and we all know that it gets pricy, unfortunately.
We will be posting last weeks recipes this weekend for you guys! They were really great meals and we don’t want to leave them off forever, we just needed a little bit of a break for a bit.
Today we made Vegan Salmon on the show and, I am so surprised to say this, but it tasted like salmon. When my husband came up to me with the recipe, I was so confused. I also changed it a ton because in my head the original online recipe that he found didn’t really feel like it would taste like salmon. When he taste tested on the show, he went crazy for it! It was a major hit!
Just a few tips; you don’t have to cut the tofu if you don’t want, but if you want the flavor to permeate the tofu, you really should do this. Cut in half long ways and in between creating lean fillets. Other than that, the cross hatch on the top (the criss cross cuts) is very important to also getting the flavor. If you don’t have a sous vide, marinate in your fridge for at least 24 hours; this flavor is very important.
If this is your vibe you can find more on Threads and my Discord. These are the places that you can interact with me and tell me what you want to see on the show or in the blog!

Thank you again for being here! Have a wonderful day and we will see each other again very, very soon! And don’t forget, even when you don’t believe in yourself, I believe in you. You are cool, you’re amazing, you’re talented, and you are where you are supposed to be. One day your circumstances will be different and that will be okay to, but you will always have Momnoms in your corner ❤

Thank you so much for reading this and hopefully cooking along with me! Don’t forget to go follow the Cooking Show! We want to see you cooking with me while learning the history behind the food. There is just something so beautiful about learning to appreciate a meal that you make with your hands, a meal that has been made by millions of people before you, that started somewhere completely different.
