Instant Pot Brussels Sprouts
This recipe really took off from the time that I originally posted it in November of 2016, in those 2 years I have learned a lot about this recipe and adjusted it time and time again. I am sharing with you guys this amazing dish and some new and approved photos of it!
I hope you continue to enjoy this Brussels Sprouts and that they turn you into a sprout lover like they did me!
Speaking of Brussels sprouts, did you know that you can make delicious Brussels sprouts in the Instant Pot?
Are you tired of the Instant Pot, yet? You better not be, because I still have a couple more weeks of this!
During the Foodie Holiday Event (edit 2018: Isn’t it funny that I just had the Annual event yesterday?), I made this Brussels sprouts recipe that were so good! I had to remake them, though.
I had to remake them and make them better (edit 2018: I guess I’m constantly doing this! :P)
I added some great things like bacon and almonds and threw them into the Instant Pot, the results were amazing!
I feel like Brussels sprouts are the most underrated vegetable in the vegetable world. Most people just push them to the side because of the bad rep that they’ve gotten, but when done right, they are absolutely amazing.
Don’t listen to the media, you can make this vegetable taste good.
I mean you look at it and it’s like beast, but then you taste it and it transforms into this prince that you can’t get enough of.
Sorry, too many Disney movies.
You can make this recipe vegetarian by omitting the bacon!

- Put Instant Pot onto saute, put bacon in for about 2 minutes, add almonds for 1 minute. Take off saute and deglaze with wine

- Taste and adjust seasoning; serve as a side or with rice for a quick meal
Last night I went to a female entrepreneur event hosted through Nommery. It was absolutely amazing.
I love meeting people who are either like-minded in the sense that they want to do things that the regular business world may not hold true for them or they are in the food business and know how weird it is to do what you really want.
By that I mean, I have like 2 full time jobs, working on the blog, and taking care of my son.
As much as I want to, I can’t put in as much work to the blog as I want.
It’s nice to meet people who know what I am going through.
However, this event made me want to work on my cookbook even more and really get into it.
So look out 2017, you will see a MomNom’s cookbook, (Instant Pot Cookbook being released March 2019!)
