It is the end of my fall brunch series.
I am definitely going to have to do brunch again, maybe in the spring when all the new fruits and veggies are in season.
I love buying seasonally, it really makes you feel like you’re part of that season, even if the weather tells you otherwise.
To end brunch, I decided to give you a way that we usually start brunch.
I thought about doing a mimosa or something like that, but decided to do an amazing spiced pear white sangria.
Pear is one of my favorite fruits of fall.
I think it is severely under appreciated after all of the pumpkin and apple things that are out.
Pear has a great crisp taste, slightly sweet, but not overpowering. Pear pairs (I did that on purpose) so great with cinnamon and nutmeg, it’s like a fall match made in heaven.
This sangria is a little spiked, because what happens at brunch stays at brunch.
One sip in and you feel like you’re sitting outside a small café, surrounded by orange and red leaves, feeling a slight crisp breeze talking to your best friend.
