Instant Pot Deviled Eggs

I hope that you all had a great 4th of July!

I know that we did.

We had a birthday party for a friend’s daughter and had bbq with it.

I love bbq and picnic food, it really reminds me of all things summer.

I wanted to do a blog that focuses on one of those picnic foods but makes it so much easier for you to make than usual.  Mainly because I use the Instant Pot and it takes less than 10 minutes cook.

I’m talking about deviled eggs.

The perfect picnic appetizer because it’s only a couple of bites but packed full of flavor.

I use my Instant Pot to hard boil the eggs and it takes absolutely no time to get them to the right consistency.

I’ve been doing this for a while now but wanted to make sure that I had it perfected before I shared this trick with my lovely blog readers.

It’s so easy, you put in a couple of cups of water, the steam basket, the eggs, stick it on manual for 5 minutes and then boom hard boiled eggs.

The rest is just a breeze to set up.

Oh, my other secret to the best deviled egg?

You use banana pepper relish.

This is something that you can find at any grocery store but is regularly overlooked.  It’s so good, it’s slightly sweet with a little bit of spice.  It really knocks the flavor up a notch.

If you’re looking for something good to take to a picnic this summer, look no further than this deviled egg.  You will be the hit of the party.

So what did you do for your 4th of July?

All of this bbq and talk of bbq really makes me miss Texas.  I’m thinking that a trip to Texas is in store soon.  I think that it would be fun with Braedon being this age because he’s actually active and can experience things better.

I would love to do a few blogs on some of my favorite places in Texas too because I think Texas deserves it.

If you’re from North and Central Texas, where are some of your favorite places to go?
