Spinach Kale Smoothie

I have felt so sluggish and tired lately.

I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t been eating well or if it’s because of my depression.  Either way, it really sucks.

I decided to add some smoothies into my life to help me feel better and get a little more nutrients.  

I wanted to try something different, something I have never had before.  And it’s quite common for most people, but not for me.

I wanted to do a kale and spinach smoothie.

It really gave me the kick of energy that I needed to get through the rest of my day.

I added a little peanut butter in it for flavor and to get some protein, but you could do a protein powder instead.

Spinach & Kale Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

Instructions

  • Blend everything and serve in your favorite glass!

I finally put together my new island for my kitchen and I love it!  It’s the perfect size for shooting in my kitchen, where the light is the best.

It’s the small things that can make me completely overjoyed.
