So I wanted to start making more fall drinks for my Afterdark series, but Gareth read this article about Frozés and I just knew that it was meant to be.
You know what made it even better?
It has been hot in San Francisco the last few days, this was a perfect cool down drink!
I was meant to make a frozen rosé and to make it delicious.
I accomplished my goals.
This is possibly the easiest mixed drink I have ever made, but it tasted so good that I wanted to drink more and more of it. (Or eat, it kind of was like a slushy)
Unfortunately every time that I got a new bottle of Rosé, I drank it.
I know, life of a blogger, right?
1/2 bottle of a darker Rosé
1/2 cup water
Juice of 2 lemons
Blend all of the ingredients
Put into freezer tight container
Freeze for 6-12 hours
What are you doing this weekend?
I’m hoping to drag the boys to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival, we also have to pick up our wine from our wine club and that’s right next door, so this might be doable.
I heard that Panic! At the Disco is playing in Sacramento this weekend and now I’m all jealous of everyone who gets to go see them!
Oh and we might have a new baby in the Trifecta this weekend!
I’m hoping so!
