I hope that you all had a great Christmas!
I took a few days off to really spend with my family, I loved it. But now it’s time to get back to work! Especially since I got a new computer for Christmas, I seriously wanted to make something for today’s blog just so that I could use the computer to edit photos and write the post.
I was planning on taking the day off of blogging, so that I could have a good few days with the family, but plans change.
Speaking of plans, do you have a favorite planner?
I’m getting everything ready for next year, since we are so close to the New Year and was wondering how everyone else does it.
I have a really cool Webster’s Pages’ planner that I have used for blogging and meal plans the last year and I love it. I would like to have an actual blogging planner though, I think that would be cool and would keep me going where I want to go.
I am participating in a recipe swap and got miriinthevillage.com. She is a mom who makes some of the best desserts that I have ever seen.
Seriously, her decorating skill is on point. I wish she could teach me how to do some of the things that she has been doing.
I was really intimidated by her sweets, so I chose something comforting and savory.
She used heirloom tomatoes in the recipe, but I used roma because heirlooms are sadly not in season anymore.
This recipe is perfect for the winter chills that have taken over the last few days.
Grab a bowl, curl up with a book and a thick blanket, and relax from all of the holiday stress.
